BACON & CHEESE FRENCH TOAST POCKETS

Who says breakfast has to be boring? This breakfast has it all. Thick bread, melted and gooey cheese, smoked and savory ham, all contained in everyone’s favorite breakfast treat, French Toast. It is truly a one of a kind breakfast that’s perfect for busy mornings because they only take a few minutes but are great to take on the go.

They might also find their way onto the table for big holiday breakfasts because they really are that good! Change breakfast forever with these Bacon & Cheese French Toast Pockets.

Ingredients:

– Uncut bread – cut into 3cm-4cm slices
– 1 Tablespoon of wholemeal mustard
– Bacon or ham (cut to bits)
– Cheese
– Oil
– Butter
– 1/4 cup milk

Directions:

1. Get the uncut bread and slice it in the middle. Spread the wholemeal mustard in between.
2. Get the cheese and bacon put it inside the bread.
3. Get a mixing bowl and put in the eggs and milk. Whisk together until well combined.
4. Get a frying pan and heat it on medium. Add some butter and a bit of oil.
5. Get the bread, dip it in the egg mixture and fry it. Turn it over every 30-60 seconds until it’s brown.
6. Cut it in half and serve on a plate.
