Watch a child’s eyes light up when you tell them you’re making these fun treats that look like one of their favorite playthings and taste like a dream!

Weird and wonderful, these yummy pops are filled with flavor from the salty butter, cream cheese and sugar which is creamed till light and fluffy. The doughy base is brightened with drops of food coloring then wrapped and refrigerated before rolling into the shape of a small snake and coiled into rounds. Insert a cake pop stick, bake and enjoy the rich flavor and vibrant colors.

Ingredients:

– 3/4 Cup of soft butter
– 85 Grams of cream cheese
– 1 Cup of sugar
– 1 Teaspoon of vanilla essence
– 1 Egg
– 2 3/4 Cups of plain flour
– 1 Teaspoon of baking powder
– 1/4 Teaspoon of salt
– Food colouring
– Sticks

Directions:

1. Get a mixer and put in the soft butter, cream cheese, and sugar. Turn your mixer on and mix until it’s light and fluffy.
2. Add the vanilla essence and egg. Mix it again until it’s smooth.
3. In a separate bowl, put in the plain flour, baking powder, and salt. Give it a stir and add it to the mixer.
4. Mix everything by hand or using a dough mixer.
5. Get the dough mixture and break them up into 4. Poke a hole in the middle and drop some food colouring in. Knead until the colour is mixed.
6. Wrap each one in a plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for 2 hours.
7. Break them up into small balls and combine 4 balls with different color into one large ball.
8. Start rolling it out until you get a long-thin piece. About 12 inches long.
9. Coil them together and put the stick in so it looks like a lollipop.
10. Put it in the oven at 175 degrees Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit for about 8 minutes.
