These tiny tureens are created by melting luscious milk chocolate in a microwave and employing small, inflated party balloons as templates then chilled. Once set, pop the little balloons and voila, the resulting basin is a crispy cup to hold goodies galore. You can even start your creation with a scoop of your favorite chilled confection and make an elegant and edible sundae.


– 200 Grams of milk chocolate
– Small party or water balloons
– M&M’s or ice cream to put in the bowls


1. Get a bowl and put in the milk chocolate.
2. Put it in the microwave for 30 seconds and give it a stir. Then put it again for another 30 seconds and stir. Repeat the process until it’s all melted.
3. Once done, leave it in the counter to cool for about 20-30 minutes or put it in the fridge for about 10 minutes or so.
4. Get a baking tray, put some baking paper and grease it.
5. Spoon some chocolate in the tray and dab it down.
6. Get a small balloon and dip it straight in the chocolate bowl. Then put it over the chocolate in the tray.
7. Pop it in the fridge for 20-30 minutes to let it set. Once it has set, pop the balloons to remove it.
