For a smoothie that’s as fun to create as it is to drink, try this amazing Traffic Light Smoothie and savor each colorful and creamy layer.

Prepare the luscious, green, and healthy bottom with nutrient-rich avocado’s, silky yogurt and delicious honey which is blended with ice and poured into the bottom of a tall cup. Next place ripe bananas, juicy mango pieces, tangy orange juice and a sweet dollop of honey and blend with ice cubes for the delightful and vibrant yellow layer. Let the first two layers set up in the fridge before preparing the bright and colorful red shade for the smoothie top which is a luscious mixture of blended fresh strawberries and banana with ice cubes.

 

Ingredients:

Bottom Layer

– 1 Avocado
– 4 Tablespoons of yogurt
– 1 Tablespoon of honey
– 3 Ice cubes

Middle Layer

– 1 Banana
– 1 Mango
– 2 Tablespoons of honey
– Half a cup of orange juice
– 6 Small ice cubes

Top Layer

– 1 Banana
– 8 Strawberries
– 1 Tablespoon of honey
– 4-5 Ice cubes

 

Directions:

Bottom Layer

1. Get a blender and put in the Avocado, yogurt, honey, and 3 ice cubes.
2. Put the lid on and blend for about 30 seconds.
3. Pour it into a glass as the bottom layer and put it in the fridge while making the middle layer.

Middle Layer

4. Blend the banana, mango, honey, orange juice, and 6 ice cubes together.
5. Blend for about 30 seconds or so and pour into the glass.
6. Then put it back in the fridge again.

Top Layer

7. Blend the banana, strawberries, honey, and 4-5 ice cubes together.
8. Blend it for 30-60 seconds and pour into the glass as the top layer.
